MEMBERSHIP INTRODUCTION

Welcome and thank you for considering membership in the Lake Murray Yacht Club. As you have probably discovered by now, we are a social organization dedicated to the enrichment of the lake experience at Murray.

Although our name includes "yacht", boat ownership of any size is not required for membership.

The rest of this web site is good evidence of why we exist. The Club can always improve with new folks participating. Members easily recoup the $30 annual dues ($15 for 2021) with just modest attendance at the Lake. If you are new here, or have had previous Murray experience and now want to join in, we embrace you. Lake Murray Yacht Club is a Cooperating Group with BoatU.S. This formal agreement makes LMYC members entitled to half priced membership inBoatU.S. This equates to only $12.50 per year. BoatU.S. is the nation’s largest association of recreation boaters and provides a vast range of services, information and savings to boating members. Notably included is a $50 per incident On-The-Water Towing with your basic membership.  If you are joining or renewing your BoatU.S. membership, be sure to mention our Cooperating Group ID number GA83904Y to get the special rate.
